starview problem?

Hi i'm new to this and was wondering if anyone knows if there is new code's for ntl in dublin and how to entere them it's a starview box the old one.Any help is appreciated

press menu
press 1570. (this takes you into secret menu)
Press OK on "nagravision"
Make sure your cable provider is listed at top N*L or T***WEST C&W CHO**S ect
Go down to "Key Number" and check its on 00
Go down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Go back up "Key Number" and change to 01 using the > button on the remote control
Go back down again to "Key Data" and input the correct keys
Press OK to store
Press "Exit" , Check the bottom option and make sure "Key EMU" is On
Press Ok again
Then "Exit and "Exit" again back to the main tv screen
Then go to a paid channel and should update .

Hi, hope someone can help me. I have a starview on CH***s in north Dublin area and today I only have about 20 channels left, everything else is gone, some saying 'apdating'.
Does anyone know how to get them back??

i have downloaded programs to my box plugged back in channels as normal how does it update

 

does an1 hav the new codes??? it just keeps sayin"Data is being updated" can some please help me????

hi,cant access nagravision on my starview boxwith 1570,cant get any channels,wat can i do?

 

Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

Also

You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

Count the vents on top

18x7 = Clone
25x7 = Genuine
13x7 = 1st Generation

Hi I had the same problem i.e lost loads of channels, my box had older software on it,so i thought i could up date it by doing a box to box soft ware transfer ,the scond one having newer sofware,it all seemed to go fine but now all i have from my box is a black screen.I have checked all connections etc to the tv. The box selects the Av channel on the tv but all there is ,is a black screen.No start up menu can be seen.Is there anything i can do

 

Hi guys

I wonder if you could help me. I have 'The Box' and using version 3 software. On Jan 8/9 when all the codes changed, I lost the Box Office channel (the one where they show the wrestling and the hatton fight).

I've done a full scan and from what I've been led to believe the channel is TV1700. The current frequency the channel is set to is 427000. When I put the channel on now, it just data is being updated in a continous loop (i.e it gets to 180% and then starts again).

I've tried everything and anything - I'd really appreciate some assistance as Royal Rumble is in a couple of weeks and I promised my nephew he could come over and watch it!! :-/

the box office channel only comes on when there is an event on ie wrestling boxing etc then it shows a movie continually for about a week afterwards so dont worry it willl be back for royal rumble

 

You've API Version 3 on 'The Box' you should have version 4.51 on it you sure you have The Box and not the original S******w ?

First time on here... just got a starview 2 the box today. Ive hooked it up and followed the initial setup instructions (autoscan, 1570, CAS system, key emu - ON) but after using auto-scan there are no programs found and nothing on the tv or radio lists.
Ive checked the vents, its genuine 25x7, and is a API ver: 4.52e_E Boot ver 7.0 14 Aug 2007
My supplier is Virg Media, and i have the basic package freeview box and have been told by the starview seller that this is compatible.

Any help much appreciated

 

Make sure you have the cable plugged into 'Cable Input' at the back of the box,alot of people plug this into the wrong slot.
