we need to be 1005 certain have a look in here you may need to open your box 1st make sure its unplugged first but i think it may be a clone all right as that firmware version is for clones altough it will work on genuine

OH MY GOD!!! Karl, it has just kicked in! All channels are back. But surely it shouldn't take 8 hours to auto up-date?

is that looking at the box from the front or the back???

i have 25 vents and when i look at the box from the back the scart is on the left ( on the right from the front).

Is it genuine???

 

leave your box in standby plug your null modem into pc plug the other end into the box(dont have your box connected to tv lol its been done)down load the gt loader here http://www.4shared.com/account/file/39363235/94f9b87/GTRom_v400.html save it to your desktop then download the bin file http://www.4shared.com/account/file/43712673/bcf1fc5e/CryptStar-v14-GenuineOnly.html save that to your desktop open the loader should be on app file only click bin file find wre you saved the bin file on your desktop then click download weait till it finishes and a small box opens to say down load complete thats it set it up as per usual

ok i got the two downloads and i have saved them...when i try to open the GTRom it asks me what i want to open it with..search the internet or a programme on the computer...what do i do?sorry....meant it when i said the idiot guide!!

Yeah I had it on Sly Spots. It just came back on after I exited out of Language settings not having changed anything. Weird eh? So far so good anyway. By the way, do you know anything about D'ream BOx's? 2 family members have asked me to download the firmware and autoroll theirs for them. Celtic was helpin me out lastnight, but he said the D'ream BOx is a whole different kettle of fish. Any ideas on how I can get them sorted? Both boxes are supported by nthell.

Carkins, the codes for dublin are listed under N*L Irl*nd on page 1 or "Firs" at the top and bottom of the main page. Just scroll up or down. They are updated practically as soon as they go. The big boys here know how to look after us all.
