    Thanks to everyone here on this site, @NoelyF and a few others......You were right, my Starview was a clone. I used the clone firmware on it & wham! codes updated in a jiffy;) Thanks a million guys;)

    ok i got quite far that time!!now when i click download it says error model name is empty...what am i doing wrong?its not empty cos it says theres 370kb in the file.

    sounds like its not finding your box are you sure you have a null modem cable

    yeah def right cable...do i have to tighten up all them little screws for it to work?

    Evening Karl...see youv,e been busy.. was having a nose around and was shocked to see people looking for codes between 7am and 9am this morning LOL... have some people got no lives?

    could be in for a long weekend!
