    danny, press menu > 1570
go to "key EMU" & turn it on if its off.
then go to "set default key" press ok
exit to s*y sports & let it update.

you`ll need the Crypstar-v1.4 Core 257 .bin, which you can find in the starview folder in eamos library here

Go back to Eamo's Library and download the Loader GTRom v4.00 it is in the Software folder of Starview 7th down and then software and it is the top file, you will need Winrar to extract it - if you have not got it then that is available there to. the file you have is a bin file (for clone Starview 1 Boxes open in that - and flash to your box with GTRom okay.

    Hi there,
real quick question (probably stupid). Have a eurvox maxV which came with an RS232 cable. Is this the null modem cable needed to upload the autoroll software? I've looked at the DB9 null cales online and they look the same as the cable that came with the box.
    Thanks,
    B.

Yes - if it was sent by your supplier with the box then it will be the correct cable, DB9F to DB9F - 9 pin Female at both ends (NULL MODEM cable). You will find this thread very interesting and helpful for future reference if you are going planning to upgrade, read from top to bottom, tutorial and pictures.

I have tested other cables that was supplied with the b0xes and it turned out a good few of them were the rs232 cable and would NOT work , just thought I'd let you know :)
