STARVIEW PROBLEMS - ***NO CODES HERE ANYMORE***

If you have a mobile phone with a camera, switch it to camera mode. Point the remote at the camera lens and press some buttons , and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen. If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.If you do see it flashing, then it's not the remote.

 

Hi Celtic, Congratulations and well done today - good win! Mac07 have you tried changing the batteries in the remote? I'm not trying to be funny or anything, but I was asked to update a Dr*am bOx for a mate lastnight. I was almost suicidal like yourself when I couldn't get the remote to work. After ringing him to explain what some of the buttons were on his remote - he informed me that there was only one battery in it.!

 

wow thats pretty impressive, can you solve my problem?, have a eurovox since early 07 right, can i update it the same way as the starview, if not how??

 

Yes you can update it like the SV but you need to know if you have a 06 or 07 model .

Look down at the box from above and note where the rf in connection is, looking through the grill on the box above this is a silver tuner, a 2007 model will only measure 8 slots of the grill and a 2006 will measure 11.


8 = RED
11 = BLUE

its trying to up dates the codes

 

its deffo a genuine going by the pics anyway, havnt got the box it came in anymore but everything else matches up

 

ders a good tutorial on how to update ev boxes on the link malci has posted on the top of the page
