Are you keeping the info button pressed? Just press once before 200w

Or try menu 1570 no need press info and brings you to same screen.

If I press menu I don't get parental control I get:
Installation
User Setup
Channel Edit
System Setup
HDD Interface
HDD Mode Change
In order to get Parental Control I have to go into System Setup first and when I then go into Parental Control it doesn't let me do anything, and if I press Menu and 1570 it does nothing.

 

If u have starview 1 press menu once in menu screen press 1570 that will take you to nagravision emu screen put in codes exit out turn emu on hey presto. Check before u put codes in that emu is off.

 

Hi folks. Thanks so much for updating the codes all the time - you're real life savers!! My starview is autoupdating but each time it seems to be one either digit or letter out which makes it not work. Any ideas on how I might fix this?? Thanks in advance.

 

Select which language-English
1)Select which cable company you are subscribed to
2)Run the scan by pressing ok.
Once thats complete all the channels will filter in.
3)Press Menu go to Parental Control and then press (i or info button) on remote followed by 2007.
4)Key and Emu buttons should now be visible.
5)Change the key EMU(may say AUTO UPDATER) to "ON" position then tap EXIT TWICE.
Go to any scrambled channel and wait for update.
6)If when update fails, choose a different provider.

only if ur pc has a nine pin port.. my pc is new enuff an duzn have 1 so u have 2 get a usb to serial port adaptor to use n conjunction

al info can b found an dat forum. . it looks complicated but it not. . if ye get stuck on something specific iam sure 1 of the addicts will help ye out

 

loopy .... pvr should be fully autoupdating, but you may need to turn autoupdate on, goto Menu/System Setup/Press ok when Parental Control is highlighted, then i (info) then 2007, you may need to do this a couple of times to get your remote button speed presses correct, you should then be in the 'Cas System' menu, make sure the bottom item 'Auto Update' is set to on.
Goto a scrambled channel and wait for it to update can take a minute or so.

Carol are you in the UK ? If so check through your channel list and see if its listed under TV*** (Denotes Numbers)

Hi This is another new person. I have a starview 1 that I have new software on but am trying to trafer it over to another one do you know if this can be done I know I was able to do it before the codes start going. as I have my one done all the family went theres done but I don't have access to it from home only from work and was hoping to be able to do it from BOX to BOX

u can do a box to box transfer, just connect you cable to each box and hit s/w transfer.
