STARVIEW PROBLEMS - ***NO CODES HERE ANYMORE***

i've got my null modem cable now and my usb to serial port. downloaded gtrom v4. turned starvue to standby then opened gtrom loader Set baud rate to 115200. selected bin fil as cryptstar v1.4 clicked download.
But the percentage is still 0% for about ten minutes. Wheere am i going wrong? any help please?

Are we talking TV or Radio, if it is radio you will need to Factory Re-set and re-scan on your provider - If TV, then from the affected channel, Menu - Installation OK - Down to Manual scan OK - Press Ok on Down Frequency, when finished the programme will appear at the end of your listings, just re-order in channel edit and delete the affected channel.
I am in the UK and that channel Classic FM is Radio only where I am?

 

ive been trying to update starview box today .. i have gtrom loader and new firmware but when i go to download its asking for stb model .. its for sv first gen any help thanks

 

When you open GTRom it should show serial port COM1 - Baud Rate 115200 -App Files Only should be ticked, and when you click Bin File Tab and browse and double click your chosen Bin file - the STB Model should automatically show GCR 3510.

 

Hi Mainana, yes had a go at that last night but did not work maybe the cable I was using has something wrong with it as I have not used it in over a year. will have another go tonight as have 10 starviews to update for family. Can you also help me with getting the newsoftware for the dreambox as we have one of them as well that needs updaing and I know notting about them

thanks ill try that cos didnt have the box plugged in till eveything was right so ill give it a go now see what happens

 

maybe it is the cable.. I havnt actually transfered one yet with yhe new software on it so maybe it cant be done, but im sure it can.
I think the latest dreambox files are in the eko link under my post..

 

ive downloaded the digivox loader and 2.800 firmware but when i download it the bar goes up all the way then it comes up finish cms send what does this mean cos the box remained on the old software any help thanks

ntl codes in dublin just gone down, any word on the new codes?

 

need new code please for dublin with ntl
