yes but on 4.53 the line that moves across to the right on startup just keeps repeating from left to right and it does nothing else.

Done and if its a Starview clone you need to flash it with http://www.4shared.com/file/44560665/dccfe334/CryptStar-v14-Core257.html?dirPwdVerified=2e022dc3 found in Eamos, just click this link.

Same as last years flash just a different patch, sorry I could not answer you in my shout box as it is a bit over run at the moment.

karl, can I just come in here a minute as regards the 4.52,53,54, using GTRom 4.00 is no good, that's what I think is happening - this is the procedure :- From v4.50/51 you must - Use the New Improved GTrom Loader Ver 4.03 for example >>>>>>>

First flash thebox_H20070814_452eE_api.bin to your box with the new GTRom.4.3
    (select as App file only)

Then flash thebox_logobg.bin to your box using the new GTRom.
    (select Background Data File)

    Version 4.53 For UK

If you are upgrading from 4.51 or earlier you must flash 4.53 first. then flash the logo file. If you already have the 4.52 on just flash the 4.53 straight on no need for the logo file, you must use the 4.3 loader.

Version 4.54 for UK & Ireland

If you are upgrading from 4.51 or earlier then flash 4.54 1st then Aafterwards flash the logo file. If you already have 4.52 on or later then just flash the 4.54 straight on without it. You must use the new Loader Software v4.3

Personally I find the 4.52/53 and 54, to be more trouble than they are worth, with green screen crashes in epg etc, I find the 4.51 much more stable, but it's an individual choice, but that is the procedure above.

From this day forward posting of any new codes to the discussion forums is prohibited.

Existing posts and discussion threads remain in place, but no updates to code posts or new threads requesting for codes are allowed.

    Thank you.

If the existing posts and threads cannot be updated then how can people find out what the new codes are?

Either by updting their boxes with AU firmware, (like we have said for a long time) or go and find they elsewhere, they are still freely available, just not here anymore.

Although the power of pm is also a great thing.

No. There are other similar threads on the site, and we have nothing against them in general. People are free to use our forums for what ever they want to, as long as they follow the forum rules.

People need to try and find the codes somewhere else.

Like I mentioned here it was a logical move to make, since posting software serial numbers and cracks is also prohibited. The codes can well be compared to those.

This was a decision we made on our own. We haven't been contacted by a third party regarding the matter.
