Well said. I agree with that service part for sure. The info to upload is free and people can do as they wish with it. I reckon service providers will start to target those who list these upgrades next. Let's hope we can always be one step ahead all the time.

 

Lads the connection of the box to your cable provider in Ireland is illegal weather or not you have codes or not on the boxes

The reason for this is because we in Ireland do not have a free to air system at the present time which the UK do

The modifying of any set top box with software to view subscription channels is illigal in both Uk and Ireland unless you are paying for them

So it dont matter about the codes the reason the codes are taken down is because they are cracks just like you get fro programs and as such are viewed as copy write material

 

Box is updated.
I don't need codes.
But, according to earlier posts, lots of people do.

I didn't think that voicing your opinion would result in such a negative response.
No one is nagging just making my view heard. Just because it does not match the views held by others does not negate it in any way.

And my view is that it is all illigal, no matter what way you spin it...as I said earlier, codes or updates, it's all illegal and this coincides with the message in Fergus' post.

great discussion lads everybody is getting their point across without getting out of hand,i think no codes is a shame but i saw it comming,if people need codes there is always a way.
anyway i have a starview 3 and sombody gave me a link to a way of unlocking loads more channels i think it was des, but that system seemed to be for the uk, has anybody any info for ireland??
