    Any news on the filmware and how do you know if you stxxrview box is a clone? I know everyone's frustrated but really you guys rock!

    a quick way is on top of box look inside the vents and if u see some green nodules( top left, maybe bottom left) , it is a genuine box !

    There box also has to update but it only takes a few secs on the proper boxes and can just look like a picture freeze.

    They are upgrading the NTL network, they have no way of blocking the boxes as of yet. Sure you can update your firmware on a genuine starview box and the codes update in a few seconds.
