    lads there is a forum on all the eurovox boxes at the start of the forum thats the best place for eurovox

    I couldnt get things to work from my laptop with a USB to serial adaptor, changed COM setting in device manager etc, all variations.
    Finished up using somebodies desktop PC, have now done 3 boxes, takes literally minutes. I think the mistake a lot are making is not extracting the BIN file first with Winrar

    is the crypstar firmware thats in eamos for the starview 1 and if so is there a new gtrom loader as well or does the old one do...thanks
