STARVIEW PROBLEMS - ***NO CODES HERE ANYMORE***

    Your box needs updating to the clone fix, key's no longer updating I assume you are running on the V 257ee FIXED - thanks to Sunrise, the firmware you want is called CryptStar-1.4-Core257Bin - for the clone box it auto-rolls the key's. You will find it in Eamo's Library, go into Starview folder 7th down and then Firmware 2nd down and you will find the file 2nd down (zip file).

    Wonder if anyone can help me. I flashed my Eurovox MaxV for a second time today. Everything seemed to go fine. I re-installed and this went fine also. When I look at my codes now all that I see is 00 in all boxes - Provider, Key 00 and Key 01. Should this be the case. I downloaded on Saturday past also and everything seemed to be fine, but when codes changed I still had to manually input them.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Ifd it didnt autoroll then u dont have the new software on it !

    it dosnt matter if keys are reading 00 , if u hit menu, then ok 1968 (twice) and yellow u will see what codes u are using !

    u should go to a eurovox thread instead as this is starview one , u prob get quicker answer there..

    If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

    These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased alot cheaper on fleabay.



    Updating Firmware

    Connect your box and PC with a Null modem cable and switch on the cable box and put it on STANDBY.
    (The Starview does not need to be connected to TV to update it with GTROM)

    Open GTROM Loader software make sure that you set the correct COM PORT
    that matches the one that is being used

    Make sure App file only is selected, then click Bin File & browse to the firmware where you downloaded it to on your PC.

    Run the GTROM loader by pressing Download and you will see the % progress increase
    then Download completed message on your PC.
    Wait until you see the DOWNLOAD COMPLETE pop up on your PC before
    removing the NULL MODEM CABLE. The Starview will then reboot

    Disconnect from PC and connect back up to the TV

    can anyone help me out.
    Got a box and it's not working!
    In in the waterford are with MMDS the box I have is the box-t.
    When I scan it looks for 12 channels and finds nothing, what should I do?

    download the bigmaq toolbar and all codes are updated as there rolled
    its safe and been on my pc for ages its great
    it says your codes are
    0 = 23 e0 68 58 9d fc df 17
    1 = 2b 02 04 f9 f2 a4 1f 00

    Thanks tezzer123, I've got that toolbar already downloaded but they are quite slow at updating the codes, I found that last weekend when it went off, I was getting them quicker off the lads that are on this site than off the toolbar unless they are keeping an eye on the toolbar more quickly than before?

    I'm back up and running anyway, thank god.

    hit menu then press ok..then 1968 twice and yellow button.. u should see codes there....
    anyway if u have to manually input codes it means u havnt got new software on it !

    Ive got the new software and its not working for me.. I have to wait for the new codes on this website to manually input them.. Anybody got a idea why that is happening?

    Hi, i heard this on spin too earlier, basically sayin dat they're tryin 2 get at da ordinary joe soaps dat wouldn't know how 2 update there boxes and dat dey know dey cant beat all those tech minded people dat are keepin these boxes goin....

    So keep up da good work guys ha...
