Hi. I just joined this site and I am quite new to starview. I bought my box 3 weeks ago. I have had to flash the box and also enter the keys manually several times as I kept losing channels. I loaded 3.00 last week and it was working fine. 2 days ago, the box was disconnected from the mains (to be updated again via pc). Once connected to mains and PC, I realised that the "Power Light" doesn't come on. I checked the power cord, fuse and found no fault. Can you please help me. I have a new, dead box.

I have. They kept fobbing me off first. Then they gave me a guys number who would charge £20.00 + postal charges for Jtagging. Now they don't even reply my messages.

Does any1 know where I could purchase online a suitable signal booster/ amplifier for the starview2 the box?

I have version 4.00 and I still seem to be loosing or picture freezing on some chs, I think this may be due to signal.

If any1 could help I would appreciate it.

hi i got file 3.00 on my box but noticed s*y sports 1 has gone off seems to be the only one i have lost any ideas.

 

this has happened to me just delete manually s*y sports 1 then manually search and it should pick it back up and place it at the end of your channel list

 

No, my box is not a clone

 

The new 2.57 fixed for clones is for clones only I wouldn't put that on a genuine box just in case it kills it

hey...i have updated my box with the 400 it is working fine except 4 10 channels. the 10 channels that arent working are all on the same frequency. the frequency is 387.500. can any1 tell me why it isnt working?? and how can i fix it. i tried manually scaning them in it picks up on the channel but it wont come through, if any1 could help! thanks

 

Hi, got a Starview box about a month ago and it works great apart for a few niggles;

1)Cant seem to get BBC3 or BBC4 which I got before.
2)EPG info is patchy and loads up really slowly.

Any ideas please

 

where are you uk or eire.what provider.and the epd will allways be sh*** so you will just have to buy a tv guide.
