OK one more go plug it into the cable out socket on the back of the box and try it then. I am just trying this to see if it is just an RF issue.

Dont know what to say sounds like the tuner has gone and even a jtag will have no effect on that, have you checked all the capacitors on the boards?

    Evening folks

Sorry in advance, bit of an amateurish question here...

Do I have to subscribe to the basic subscription in order to pick up all the channels? (i.e. can I get them without paying anything at all?)

Also, anyone know where I can get my hands on a cable modem clone?

Finally, a tenner says Chelsea 0 Liverpool 1.

to anyone who has had problems with dead boxes. i had same problems with 5 boxes. leave them pluged out for about 2 days reload software and they should come back good as new. worked 4 me.
    good luck

Yes but for how long is the question best if they are under warranty to send them back and get them replaced because if they run out of warranty after you have left it plugged out for a short while and they do come back on again and then just after your warranty runs out you will be kicking yourself for not sending them back to be replaced
