starview seems to have died ??

    need urgent help please....we have the 2007 eurovox max and we ran into problems with the channels last week all channels stopped.we tried another web site and they suggested deleting all channels and reseting the box via the power scan since then nothing has returned the box is showing 0000 with no channels and wont let us do autoscan... any ideas???

    my starview box has just started doing update on sky sports1, goes to bout 170%-180% & started the update at 0% again? keeps on repeating but no channel comes on? I have the auto update firmware 4E. EMU is on, i'm in telepest area. Any help guys??

    Yep, same problem here in Newcastle. The Starview box went to the updating data screen, counts up to 170 - 180% then briefly shows the channel I was watching (History, I think it was) then goes back to the data updating screen starting from zero again.

    I've turned it off and left it off for an hour, then tried again...still does the same. I've got version 4 software, it used to auto-update with no problems, now it seems to be screwed. I'm with VM, ex Tele*est area.

    Any thoughts?

    Guys i also have the problem whereby i get percentages from 150-200% then does nothing ... does anyone have any new codes or is there anything we can do?

    Mine has start working now, it updated to bout 700-800 then the channels on. but first it was only updating to 170-180 then start updating again

    spoke too soon, start doing the same again, keeps repeating updating data, any help guys??

    Try putting it on Sly Spots it should update, is your emu on?

    Do a factory resert and start from scratch

    press menu
    press 1570. this takes you into secret menu
    Hit ok on nagravision
    and change both keys 00, and key 01

    Make sure your cable provider is listed at top NTL or TELEWEST C&W CHORUS ect you have to only input keys for your provider
    To change between the 2 keys
    highlight key number press right and left
    When changed hit ok (To store) after each one..


    (YOU MUST SAVE EACH KEY INDIVIDUALLY - I.E. AFTER CHANGING KEY 00 MAKE SURE
    YOU STORE BEFORE CHANGING KEY 01 (TO STORE PRESS OK)after this make sure your emu is turned on then go to a paid channel and should update

    when im putting in codes and saving them , if they dont work and i go back to the code input screen the codes have changed why cant i save the codes???

    hi,
    can anyone help im having same problems the starvi*w codes posted for uk arent working in the m'bro area. i did the auto roll about 2 weeks ago and but hasnt workd any suggestions. iv tuned in to s*y sports and also set default key turned the box off dont know wot to do next, help!!!
