starview seems to have died ??

try turning the box off and back on again if all else fails you will have to reset the box and rescan sorry did you check the scart also for bent pins as well

 

how about set default key again and exit turn on to sly sports, seen that work for someone earlier

 

Iwas actually watching the TV today when it went off as i was home alone (Ahh!!) so there was no one near the scarts etc, it is just a strange one

 

I have done the reset,turn it off/on, and everything I can think of,and still zilch!

 

do you have a signal indicator on the bottom of your box showing green or just blank

Also check that the cable is in the correct position also take it out of the box and plug direct into the tv and see if you have any channels

 

yeah its showing good signal strengh, and the terestrial is working perfect

 

only answer is that your tuner is bunched that is all i can think off if nobody else can come up with something i am totally out of ideas here mate

 

Fergus, forgive me but whats the tuner??? and can it be fixed,as a few of my mates in D5,D4, Lucan, and D15 are having the same problems as me, looks like a trip to xtravision or the local.

 

did you try putting it to sly sports after you set default

 

Des why not update your box to the autoroll firmware and you wont be having this problem

des maybe try it on another tv maybe a long shot but there wassomeone with a similar problem last night and that worked.

 

As far as i remember sc0user said that my boxe/s couldnt be done (besides i wouldn,t have a clue how to do it, yeah i know its easy but myself and computors and electrical things dont understand each other) here is the version i have:

hi, does anyone know what software I need to download for a cloned SV in Dublin so it auto updates? I cant hack the manual input of codes so often (which doesnt always work)loosing my mind! I know very little about it so if there is any info or guide for the download please let me know.. cheers

 

yes that is why it is best to have one set of codes on 1 page now you see where the confusion is and there is others having the same problem now as well

 

You need V2.57e_E___Fixed it is on the eko site and there is a tutorial on there as well for to show you how to do it ok
