starview 'the box' help plz

hi i was wondering if ne1 cud help me, i bought a starview 2 but i dont get all the cannels,im with N** but ive been trying these secret menus but i cant acccess ne of them! am i doin it rite or am i missin somethin?

 

go to system information and if the api is v2.58 it needs to be flashed

 

wot does flash do? n how do i go bout doin it?

 

flashing it means puting a new firmware on it.if you get a diffrent firmware you can go to the secret menu.to flash it you need a null modem cable,gtrom loader and a firmware.

 

any 1 got n*l codes plz for h/pool north east

 

i got a cable wit it for the computer, where do i download the software for it n the firmware?

does any1 know if any fixes will be available for firmware 4.00 cos a couple of chs are freezing? mainly kids chs and PPV which means the kids in my family will moan.
