starview the box stuck

Vicatron you probably do this but when you load Fw, go to menu, factory setting,then installation, 1570, set default key, turn emu on, then installation again and make sure correct service provider, automatic scan.

 

was doing that when it was the wrong gtrom so im doing it to the letter on this one!!this the last one tonight cos im gonna be dreaming starview boxes tonight iv seen so many!!start again tomorro!!

 

i know the feeling, did 21 boxes today, hence hav'nt been on here till late LOL

 

isan't it funny how popular you become if you own a null modem cable!!
i think we might be the cool kids now!!and they all want to be in our gang!!hahaha!!!

Hi i seem to have had the same problem but trying what you tried doesnt seem to work for me , despite restoring factory settings and re installing and trying your previous solution ... IN Dublin On NTEL

two questions for all the geniuses...you know who you are!!on the genuine boxes what should it say on system info if i'v done it correctly and also if i can't get one of them to update could i just put the code in to get it working? would it roll over after that?

 

Hey scouser celtic anybody help me, tryin to flash box with new software?.. have gtrom loader, everything right i think but when i hit download its telling me flash update fail, where am i going wrong? help please!!!

Have you got a null modem cable? Which box have you got? Are you using vista or xp?

 

morning evastar...did all my super boxes but still struggling with the genuine ones 25*7...any ideas??

 

yeah got cables.. done this few months back had no problem doin it.. starview 1 box on windows vista basic, (also have computer with xp)but on laptop tryin.. downloaded gtrom loader v4.00
CryptStar-v1.5-Core400 from cable closet seem to have a prob downloading from eamos libary?

 

@rachmarie it could be the volume of people downloading it, keep trying.

@vicatron, have you flashed them and you are getting update stuck at 0%, or what is happening?
