    Hi,
I nomally re-flash both my dads The Box and The Box Super. I have given my null modem cable out to someone on loan and now I can't get it back until i go back to work on 7th. He would like his tv fixed before then so if anoyone out there is interested in a nixer to flash both the boxes please pm me. He lives in Artane so and he can drop off and pick up the box locally.
    Thanks!!

A big thanks for the help. Took me three weeks to get hold of a cable, but finally managed to fix it today.

    Cheers

    Lads,

Was on here before and got some great help off sc0user to get my b0x going. Back again with another problem though. I had a break down like everyone else just before xmas and we still haven't got the thing up and running. A mate of mine got some codes that were successful in Galway however they havent worked here in Cork. I'd say it's because they were for n*l and not c0rus which is what we are running off. At the moment I'm getting just santy ireland and rte 1. The rest are completely gone. Every time I go into the channels it starts updating and goes well over 100% updating and then a blank screen before it trys to update again. What do I need to do to get the thing going again? The system is "The B0x Super star view 3". I realise I might have to download some firmware but I'm not sure how to do this or where to begin. Any help would be great. Thanks lads.

    Josh.

So which box have you got? SV 1-5 You only get help when you tell us
    a) Which box you have
    b) The problem you have
    c) Which is the installed firmware ATM

Information you give us helps us to assess and solve your problem without it we are as dumb as you.

For the people on here who help too much information is better than none.(but that would be your opinion)

E.G. have you a genuine box or a clone one?

    Once again minimal info!

Is your SV1 a genuine one or a clone?

What firmware are you trying to flash it with?

Are you using a USB to serial adapter?

Why did it take over 30 attempts before you realised you had a problem?

Give us the information we need and we may be able to help you.
