it is a friend,s box, mine is fine, genuine box, i have connected it to my wiring so all is plugged in as it should be,when i turn the box on it starts into langauge menu, when i try to install i get no programmes found on all service providers.i also did a factory reset as you suggested. i can not exit installation or nothing with 1570 emu.both boxes were flashed with ver 4 severals months ago and mine is still fine. you refer to cas, what is this and any other suggestions please.

 

If the box opens up with the language page this tells you the box wasnt flashed properly!!

 

the box has been running fine for several months

 

What happens when you accept Language, English ?

No dave, that is the up to date firmware for the SV 3 Super, please turn your cap lock off.

 

i select english and go into installation to find programme channels which like i said, none found

 

and inpup 1570 for nagrasion etc but nothing

 

If you press menu > 1570 & cant access the CAS system menu, then as Des said earlier, it needs to be flashed.

Which I think is just called the starview.

But I uploaded firmware 450 for "the box". Now I can't seem to load anything. Is there a way to restart? Also what firmware am I after? Is it http://www.4shared.com/file/46699827/b260d1ca/CryptStar-v14-Core400.html ?

will you press menu then system info and tell us what it says, that way we might be able to help you!!

 

Hey DesB, thanks for the reply. When I plug it in, all I get on screen is "The Box" logo. Nothing on the remote will change it.

 

normally that means its on standby, turn it on and you should at least be able to see the menu!

 

On the box I have a single non moving red -

The standby button does nothing, I think I did I bad upload of a bin file and now its corrupt.
