alright lads i need help i have got a genie sv box 25x7 vent it is
api ver..4.00e/E
boot ver..7.0

i have put the cpytstar 1.4 on and nothing happend so i restored factory settings and started from scratch then i went and turned the emu on when finished then went strait to sky sports 1 and a few others for it to update but it didnt work

any ideas boys?????????????????

right havent been on in a while but was just doing a few boxes over the last week havent done them in a while and everything went grand with replay lites and eurovox but im trying to do two starviews for my mates and the updating is stuck on 0 % and i tried everything from set the key default to factory reset and ive turned it on and off several times have i missed something since i was last on is it still cryptstar core 400 for the gen starview 1 its doing my head in im regretting i said i would do them for him cos its taking me too long and ive got to be elsewhere any help thanks

 

i have read bark again and i have done every thing

 

i lost it lol,stuck on 0% updating in irl yes,try doing all these to see which works for u,power off at back for a min/on , set default key-menu1570-set default key and exit out ,try changing up a channel,try bbc1,discovery, if it is going to work it will move within 10-15 secs,hope u choose the lucky channel first lol

Had same problem with the new super box. Stuck on 0% for ages. Don't panic. Id say its a bad flash. I was using flash ver7.9, when I got ver8.0 and flashed it then it was all good.

tried every channel from 1 to 140 just not happening today a load of me ******* thats what is happening lol ah well this is happening with the box and a starviw 1

 

So what flash you using ?

 

have to go ill have a go at it tommorrow . . im using crypstar 400 bin genuine ill try the core 257 tommorrow and see what happens

 

right boys i have managed to do it but on one of the boxes say on sky 2 and sky 3 no signal now wot

 

u can delete those channels and autoscan and see if that works ,what channel did it update on?

 

Hi, Not been on in while. anyways i have starview box, and was wandering if anyone can help as it is currently on API Ver: 4.00e_E , Boot Version 7.0 (it's a 1st gen) and i know i need to update and know what to do just not sure what version it should be on now also can you tell me where to get it thanks

Flash it with the Crypstar V 1.4 - Core 257 bin & you should be sorted.
