well you only have to worry about the com ports when you are using an adaptor so i think cybercop is right you might have to check out your cable.if you give me a couple of minutes i have a guide to the cables with pictures i'll try and find it.

jaymoss if you are only doing this to stop the rebooting then it wont make any difference..its a "super" box problem and flashing wont stop it.

ok that rules that out.... will you go to desk top and delete the download, and GTRom, Winrar etc youve downloaded re install them and try again, try this a couple of times if neccesary, this works sometimes as you might have a corrupt download.. nothing to lose but lots to gain.....

a few people have had success on flashing.... it will still be handy to know how to flash it anyway, plus I can always go back to another version

quite correct as it is indeed a firmware issue which needs to be addressed by the firmware makers and the sooner the better

true its always good to know and you suddenly become VERY popular with your mates who need a flash when you know how to!loljust as long as you are aware there are no real advantages to the 7.0 over the 6.0.
    i love my new super!!

I know all that mate just like we are on here all i am saying the sooner the better as there will be less people posting about the problems not that it is going to matter as there own site is closed down to cable files so there is no feedback going to them so i would not be holding my breath on a fix soon as the only way now to get a fix done will be by complaining to the supplier
