I see we had an interuption last night and as Sc0user said only one request, ok albeit An abusive one, but finally the message seems to be getting out to the messers, peacefultimes what!! LOL

 

Hi i have the starview genuine box an d am trying to flash it with the latest firmware with no luck. im using a laptop running vista and so using the usb adapter thingy. i connected everything as described in posts and says flas failed. i went through the other things you can do such as turning the box off and then starting the download then turning the box back on etc but nothing works.

any suggestions please

Have tried this to no joy, i cannot even go back to channels as there are none tunned in. any ideas????

what box you got where are you and what firmware did you put on it?

I have a genuine Starview, living in Dublin and the firmware is Cryptstar v1.4 genuine only. As far as i can see it is downloading 100% and i get the notification that it has completed. The problem is when i go to do an automatic scan and select nThell. It looks for the TP's but they all fail and eventually get the message of 0 programmes found.

check to see you have the connections in the right places, and are fully home,failing this do a factory reset, check the provider is correct, full auto scan, turn on emu.. you should be sorrted!!
