Hi guys. Basically I have a new box so I wanna get it going. I read the instructions and I'm pretty sure I understand what to do. However I don't have any of the software you mentioned in the instructions. Can anyone point me in the right direction where to get what I need.

    Thanks in advance

I read through all that but I don't understand where to find all these things

You will need the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.

You will need version Cryptstar - V1.4 genuine only firmw@re for GENUINES found in "Starvi*w" firmw@re folder

I installed the firmware which went fine.

I hooked it up to my TV, switched it on and did the installation correctly. Most of the results of 37 where "failed" but I do have around 175 chanells including radio which i'm sure id correct.

However most of them are scrambled/bad (90% I'd say)

Can someone tell me what to do next? Is it the code thing I have to change? If so can anyone tell me the current codes please.

Mine is a genuine Starview box and I live in the northside of Dublin

Thanks for your help so far......nearly there )

    menu > 1570
    turn key emu on
go to set default key, press ok & exit to s*y sports & let it update & you should be sorted.

as for channels try scan again .or just use a channel dump for ur area and upload it to the box

Thanks noelyf. That worked a treat.

Right ONE last thing. It seems all the chanells are all over the place so I'm obviously gonna wanna sort that out grouping sport with sport, film with film, etc.

Do you know how I do this? Is that what the chanell dump thing is for?

By the way thanks man for your help. Doing me a massive favour and I really appreciate it.

you can put your favs in different categories sports film etc
    menu > channel edit
    pin 0000
green button on your remote for selacting your favs.
then blue button to rename the favs heading from fav1 to sports etc.

if you have trouble with this you can always look in the eko link i gave you for a ch dump. Have to head now, best of luck :)

    Hi Guys,
I have just uploaded The Box firmware onto a genuine 25*7 smartview machine.
Now the screen is showing The Box logo and nothing else is happening.

How can i rectify the situation, i am in Ireland. Is the machine now defunct?

    Thanks in advance
