    Cheers.

But can i upload the starview firmware over the uploaded Box firmware on the machine. Will it override it?

    Thanks

Last question, in the Starview firmware folder the crypstar v-1.4-genuine is a zip file, where can i get the bin file version.

Right click on the zipped file
open > extract all files & follow the steps from there.

    Cheers Noely

I got the file extracted, but the flash for uploading the genuine starview version keeps failing. Is this because of the Box firmware which i incorrectly uploaded keeps jamming the system?

    Thanks

    Howya Moggser,

I have got the flash downloads working now but the channels are still coming up as bad/scrambled. Is there any other tricks of the trade i need to do?

    Cheers

frano, just here for a second, heading out the door.
    menu >1570
    turn emu on
    set default key
    exit to s*y sports & you`re sorted.

    Hi Guys
Read loads and loads on this forum, just cant get my SV1 to work right. I cant do the above because my box does not even tune in to S*y sports, in fact I only get about 40 channels, but no BBC ITV etc, so weird, I am fully aware of the methods of f*rmware updating and the above methods, but my SV1 will not pull in the ch@nnels full stop. Would you say that the box is capput.

    Great Forum BTPhil

    Phil , try this

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit
