ok hope this makes sense. I downloaded the correct firmware and got it back onto standby (Hooray).

Now my problem is when I run the install it finds all the channels but they come up as "Bad Channel or Scrambled".

I have gone into the menu and turned EMU on and gone back to the first channel. The screen displays "Data Is Being Updated" and a %progress, but all it does is keeps repeating itself.

Any suggestions? Sorry if this question has been answered already, i've done a search of the forum but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks for your help all.

Press menu, type 1570 on remote and press default key. Exit all the way out, put it on Sly Sports and wait to see if it updates.

Peter I have seen your other posts. Have you tried the usual bad flash method. Also there are only two firmwares you should use for an SV1 , one for a clone box and one for a genuine box. Read page 1 of this very thread. Although if you are unsure use the clone firmware as it works on both.

If you have already tried all this let us know.
