If you no any one with crypstar v4 on there box you could try a box to box software transfer if that didnt work then you would be 100% sure its a wrong cable.

    Hello,

    Hope SOMEONE can help

I live in Dublin Ireland using N*L
I bought a new Starview Super
I have installed the following software

    API ver: 8.00e_E
    Boot ver: 8.0
    20. Jun. 2008

However when I do an automatic scan

the channels start at number 106 goto 107 then 108 then skip some numbers (one of them is number 3000 ??????) some of the numbers are missing in between

With my starview TWO the channels start at number 1 and go consecutively up to number 148

Also when I do an automatic scan RTE 1 Network 2 do not appear I have to do a manual scan on 339500 to find these

Is there a problem with the new Starview Super?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

Do a factory reset & see if this helps.
    menu > factory setting
    pin > 0000
    ok to delete

TURN THE BOX OFF AT THE BACK FOR ONE MINUTE THEN TURN BACK ON

    English > installation
    choose provider
    Auto scan
    press ok
    Channels found
    Exit
    Menu > 1570
    Turn EMU on
    Exit Exit Exit

    PS

already tried a factory reset, deleting channels and powering BOX down, but when I re-scan same problem with the channel numbers starting at 106 107 etc

Do a factory reset & flash it with the 7.09 Beta.
you`ll find it in the b0x sup3r folder in eamos.

BTW, you wont be able to change the ch@nnel numbers on the b0x sup3r.
They start at 101, 102 etc, like the cc boxes.

Just upload the CryptStar-v1.4-Core257 to the box via the software but all premium channels arnt showing up...only a black screen with the name of the channel and the dollar sign next to it.

How do i fix this ? FREE channels are working like BBC 1.

go to menu press 1570 on remote (note this will not show up on the tv)this takes you to the secret menu last option key emu>on exit to sly movies and it should kick in for you.
