hi there just flashed firmware 4.506 oct onto pvr box before i did i could nt pick up any digital stations they were listed but all scrambled only pick up standard stations rte bbc1 utv so on now its upgraded went true all instructions u gave bout hidden menue turned auto update on went into cas choose provider so on went 2 scrambled channel like requested waited and still all are scrambled ive had this box now a week more pvr ye tryed everyting can u help me i know im close and i want 2 give it a bit longer tyring before i return it please reply

Go to parental control in receiver menu

press ( i or info button) + (2007)

key and emu buttons should now be visible
switch key emu to on position
go to scrambled channel and wait for update .

 

Hi people

I am new here sothis might sound a little stupid. I have a Starview1 I think that has been running ver4.00 and june2008 software, but over the last few weeks I have had to constantly manually change keys (almost everyday). Is there a new software version out that will fix ths problem?

Also I have problems with the EPG - It is really bad i.e no program listings come up for most of the channels. Is there also a fix for this?

Have a look at Celts guide regards updating http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923 The EPG is bad either way but make sure you have your time settings right and you may see some improvement.

My SV3 has a cable input, cable output, vcr and tv scart sockets, audio L, audio R and video. Is this the first batch of Sv3? Should I use 6.01 on it?
