    hi guys been trying to recover from a bad flash for weeks now tryed everything on this thread but no joy do i need to install a new boot file or anything else loosing heart now

    My friend has a starview, and over the wkend she somehow lost sound through the box. When she unplugged the box and put main N*L the sound was perfect.

    Does any1 know why this is happening and if so wots can she do to rectify it.

    Check the scart is pushed in fully in the TV slot at the back of the b0x & in the Television.

    make sure her scart lead is pushed firmly in and the mute button isnt on on the box.

    something else all right, At least you got away for a few days :) Was planning another holiday next month, but thats on hold (you know yourself).
