Noel cancel your direct debit then tell them you can afford it as you have been laid off they wont be long cutting ya off

then get a connection from eircom bt or whoever ya like

Right Lads, here one that has me pulling my hair out looking for the solution !! No LOL!!

Neighbour accross the street box goes off, No problem a quick SV transfer does the trick, his box works perfectly in my Gaff, bring it back over, nothing, press every button, try every known trick nothing... wait some channels with no names only numbers.. 910,911,912 approx 5 of them, Setanta, Disney BBC world, City channel all on the 291000 frquency work but absolutly nothing else. changed cables, tried different rooms again Nothing, brought the box back to my gaff .. worked perfect, brought MY box over to his Nothing...... any thoughts please!!!!

 

signal feed,similar prob in mates house ,cable went into attic into multipoint feed as 5 tvs in house,changed all cables and connections to proper spec and box now working.

 

How ya Cacti, Fair enough but why is he getting the likes of the disney channel and nothing else... only those on the frequency 291000 he is getting... Strange!!

 

how is his reception without box?

 

how old is cabling

 

what about neighbours either side?

 

The Reception is grand, the cable looks ok, I even brought over my leads, I cant figure it at all!!
