Try reflashing it , then factory setting , then auto scan Des.

What SV is it and what version is on the b0x ?

Des, i flashed a sv3 a few weeks ago with the 7.09 & was missing a few channels, also the channels were numbers like your neighbours.
I reflashed it with the 8.00, did a factory reset & autoscan & everythings back to normal. Dont know if this is any use (probably not lol).

Hi, I've been trying to get my genuine Starview Box 3 Super to upload the firmware for hours with no success.

Have GTromloader 8.00. Also tried older versions.

I tried connecting my computer to the box with the serial cable (have the exact one from Maplin) but didn't work.

Also tried connecting a usb adapter to my laptop but no go. I checked port & selected correct one. USB device is installed on computer with little cd it came with.

Racking my brains here. Any ideas?

Have you got the b0x on standby when flashing it, & is it disconnected from the TV??

    Not connected to tv.

Yep, when I plug it in it says On, then I press power button at front, so it shows the time 12:00. Assume that it's now on Standby.
