STARVIEW UPDATING FIRMWARE - NO CODE BEGGING HERE

sorry cant be more help... i am sure its something simple that we have missed ..have another go later!

 

can someone help,
when i trun on my starview nothing comes up on the tv,when i turn it on at the controls the time on the box changes to on.then after a second it turns off back on to the time.has anyone encountered this problem be4??

 

i have now tried everything possible to unscramble channels, downloaded all i need but still cant get other settings when pressing 1570 nothing appears after that

yes version 451eE is for the uk but it has worked here in ireland
i have set up many a box for frnds etc
when i do a system re set and re flash re scan
i get about 187 channels
then i turn emu on
normally you press exit 3 times leave on a channel an it updates automatically
with this box for the first time it goes straight to scrambled bad channel
i have tried various different software including version 454 eE
ntg works
my heads wrecked
maybe its just blx'ed

Hope your right about only being 1 winner, I've got a good feeling about Samaras and 2-0.

When I said it only goes down when every1 elses goes done, what I meant to say was thats what usually happens but this time is different, as far as I know im the only person who has suddenly lost all pay channels

 

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP? I Have a friends unit which I am supporting him with because he bought one on my recommendation, I have an old cloned Starview one which thanks to the help of the genius on this site has worked perfectly.
My mate has brought his unit 'the box' which has 20x8 grill hole and it is only showing in black and white and does not work the EMU option in order to unscrambloe the channels, if I press info 2004 it just wants to change the pin and does not go to Nagrovision... I'm sure you follow, please help!!!

 

try 1668 the master code to get into that menu

thanks, do i press 'info' then 1668 because under parental control whenever I press info it just changes the pin code and does not go to nagrovision!

Hi moggser, hope your well - 1668 won't do that job mate, that's the master code to over-ride 0000 if you change it and forget the new one. Sorry for butting in.

 

If I press Menu it comes out of parental control

i was thinking that there is a pin on it that he might of forgot and he said he needs a pin or cant get in to menu cause of a pin
1570 is the only code for nagra menu right?

Menu - scroll to System Information OK and post what it say's - if the box is new then it will most likely need flashing, as they are sold as FTA receivers.

 

ok have you flashed it or has someone tried to flash it??
