i know this might be stating the obvious and im sure you have already but did you remember to switch your emu back on?

 

EMU was on.turned it off,turned it on again.tried default.
now getting no signal message.

 

after you did the update did you try a factory reset?

 

no,i didnt do that as wasnt sure of what effect it might have and it wasnt mentione dint he origonal docs.
should i do one?

 

yeah it wont affect your box at all...press menu then 1570 then factory reset then do an auto scan then go back and switch emu back on.

i cheated and got the codes off my brother but it was only 1 numeral out from the correct code.so hopefully its all ok now. guess i will know soon enough.

Did exactly that, all channels showing even favourites but they all say no signal. Stumped.

 

Make sure you are putting the incoming cable into the back of the SV "Cable Input" socket

 

now you have them why dont you do a default reset and come out to s#y sports and then you'll know...if it doesn't work at least you can still put them in yourself!

Yes, its in the correct input, another SV works fine as I said, really frustrating. Thanks anyway.

 

i tell you this has been the most stressful ten days EVER!!and i just dont think i could have handled another gubbin!!

 

Phil .. Turn off for a few seconds and turn back on , Even Try the incoming cable in one of the other sockets and see if it works .

Aslo make sure you the S*Y Sports ch@nnel on

yea celtic they are all starview ones??bit strange isn't it??its doing my head in.i know that everything is set up the way it should be.have u ever heard of a scenario like this?
