    hmmm ok wel las i said try it 80% sure that one should work when you get there reset the box manual scan it in at symbol rate 6875 and see how you get on where you based

    it worked before for him but they cut him off...he had free cable for over a year, he rang them up the other day to get turned back on and they offered him a special deal on the new digital package, and he's afraid that if he get it the box wont work, he lives in swords

    Sorry for not getting back, I was in work all day...I see Moggser has sorted you out,I cant see any reason why it wont work in Swords, if your on cable, any problems get back, someone will sort you out!!

    hi guys can you please help me ive got a sv2 the box displays lines but no channels nothing just comes uo the box tried flashing but to no avail at my wits end hope yo can help

    Thanks. It was TV807. Not overly important but what is the reason that a bunch of channels (including Setanta Ireland) come up as TV807, TV808 etc?

    Hi guys. I flashed my St*rview a few days ago and it is performing better than ever, except that I no longer have Santa Ireland! I have all the other Santas and more channels than I ever had. Any ideas?

    I'm ok guys. Manually scanned on 291.000 and it came up as TV807. Just renamed it and bob's your uncle.

    Very early day's yet, but basically yes it is the same initial setup "after you have uploaded/installed firmware via USB memory stick". Seems a nice box, will at least do away with the problems a lot of people encounter with the NULL modem lead coupled to USB dongle/adaptor.
