afternoon all. can anyone help me. i have lost my setanta 2, done a scan and cant get it back. i live in dundee. dont want to miss the scotland game so any help would be great. ta

 

Try a manual scan on 379.000 Mhz - Menu, Installation OK, down to Manual Scan OK, now enter 379000 in Down Frequency and press OK, channels found should appear at the end of your channel list.

 

hi malci, i done what you said but never had any joy. i done a auto scan and setanta 2 came on the Frequency 683.000 but it is still just coming up bad or scrambled channel. any suggestions buddy. ta

 

Delete the chann3l & do a manual scan on 683.000. It should turn up at the end of your chann3l list.

 

Is all the other channels clear, I am presuming you are on correct provider Telepest, but if all others are clear and unscrambled and it shows as Setanta 2 on 683.000, then I would re-try a manual scan on that frequency, but make sure you check at the end of your listings.

Try an auto scan & see if it picks it up.

 

When you are doing an Autoscan, are you doing a Factory Re-set first, if not you definately need to. I would advise you to do a factory reset and installation from scratch. I am in the Telepest provider/area and it is fine, obviously not in the Dundee area, so if you do a reset and it does not appear, possible a localised problem.

so will a factory reset delete all my channels?
