Hey lads! I have two boxes in my house... a 2007 Eur***x and a sta***ew super. The eur***x scales the picture Perfectly in 16.9 but the star***w Can't even though it has a 4.3 and 16.9 setting. I'm running 8.00 e but i believe 7.09 is better. Does it resolve the Screen issue or is the eur***x firmware just better?

Surely there is a fix for this. A simple firmware if any of you mods are listening? !!! Please?

could be something as simple as changing tv settings on the actual tv set itself, i presume the two boxes are on different sets?

No It's not the sets, Defo the Box. Euro is fine on both Lcds (32s) Star has same problem on both tvs. there was a post earlier up the page but it sounds to me its the firmware. Don't you have that problem? I think i'll get rid of the Sv... Get a euro*** instead.

LOL :) The SV3 should still be showing the majority of channels at the proper aspect ratio.

Are we talking about Starview 2 The Box or The Box T which, please please clarify, because if it is The Box T then you have the incorrect firmware.

Which frmware have you put on the box, have you successfully flashed it with the correct firmware The Box-T V1 api bin, using the correct loader. Turn box off for a couple of minutes and then try to put correct firmware on.
