Starview Upgrade not connection

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has come across this before,
I have my null cable, female to felmail rs232. connected to my PC and starview.
however, when i try to use the GTROM loader, it just does nothing, then comes with with an error saying FAILED.
ANy clues???

Thanks for the reply. but it is still not working.
i am using XP on my machine, does anying special need to be done?
PORT configuration etc.....?
It just sits there as if the starview is not connected.
Its not a clone, i checked!!!
