Just got a starview 4 today. Before I set it up all the channels on my old one went.
My mate who bought a starview 4 a few days ago, he's was working grand until today and now both his and mine are not getting many channels in at all.

Lads, lads ,lads have ye not been following things. Starview is rubbish. They took almost 3 months to come uo with a N2 fix, and that was only for their latest box, they abandoned their other 3 boxes, some of which are less than a year old.Kryptview fixed their boxes in a day both old and new.
New changes today Sv4s not doing to good.Havent heard anything about the Kryptviews.

    Thanks for the fix.

New firmware was downloaded fine and box working perfectly with all channels in Dub N~L when some channels were lost. Removed splitters done factory reset and turned key on again.

Wouldnt work until changed last letter of key to E as mentioned in page 1.

Now all premium channels are grand just missing UTV, C4, BBC 1 & 2

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas, other than buying a kryptview which seems to be the general consensus and a likely possibility :)

    Cheers

I would not buy a Starview 4, as the support was too slow in getting the N2 fix out, and they only released the fix for the latest version. Pretty poor IMO. If you are going to buy a box, make it a Kryptview.

read above kryptview the better option, you are going to need a fix for the fix, on the starview. lol they are really taking the biscuit, with this one.

hard luck norris your sv4 will be as much use as your sv1.should've gone for the Kryptview. Epg is not as good as the sv4, but at least you get a picture!
