Happy days are here again. Got all channels back. thanks to the latest fix, however my channels are all over the place. When I go into channel edit, The menu won't let me select the sort option. I can cope with this, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how this can be cured.

the only way is to make your own favorites as the channels come the same way they would come on genuine providers box

Thanks tryabit. I'll go ahead and do as you suggest. I'm sure that this is a genuine box though. Bought from a very well known reputable supplier.

    Hey printer,
I believe tryabit meant a legitimate box from your provider, eg N*L, V*RG*N etc...

I see what you mean Bobbee. Why is it then that you can sort channels on original starview box, yet you can't on starview usb box? All seems a bit strange to me!

I'm not sure, was searching through my previous posts, thought I had an explanation there but no luck.
It might be a software glitch but to be honest, I cant remember.
I might try searching through forum popsts and see what I come up with....

Where can I find this latest fix for the USB box? Can someone post the URL please? New to all this business, finding it a little difficult to navigate. Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks!

THIS FIRMWARE IS FOR THE STARVIEW 4 USB BOX ONLY

you first need to factory reset your box put the firmware on the box

scan it no splitters then into menu 1570 press set default key and then key code on then exit out and then it will work

THIS IS THE VERY LATEST FILE FROM STARVIEW
THIS FILE IS FOR BOTH THE UK AND IRELAND
THIS FIXES THE N2 PROBLEM IRELAND HAS BEEN HAVING
ALSO FASTER SCANNING FOR ALL AREAS BOTH UK AND IRELAND
