Hey .. no offence taken.. I just suggested what I would do in this situation. If you ever find out exactly what is up with it please PM me with the info, because I would love to get my hands on that drive with it's unusual "not liking one particular board" fault. The chip kinda confirms it's a weird drive/mobo combination error. (and part of the reason I have an xecuter2.4 with both solderless adapters and bioses ready to go) They do happen sometimes. I have bits of hardware that don't like each other for no obvious reason. My next step would be to killdisk the whole drive, then reformat and try again... just in case there is something being saved somewhere. I haven't ever seen anything like it in my 5000+ repairs and mods on an xbox tho. It must be something odd about the drive, but what??? hehehehehe.. good one XD stumped us all.. top post this quarter.
