@aabbccdd I was the one I think you helped, awhile ago booktyping. Using PlexTools for my 716A. Now that it's booktyped w/ PlexTools, will it work for all my backup programs ? CloneDVD, NeroRecode, & DVDShrink ?
"i been trying to booktype my dvd's in Nero but even tho i change it there they still come out DVD+R is there another way...in decryptor it asks to select a drive i have a Sony DRU-810A & a Sony DRU-820A but the drives listed are benq,lite-on,plextor,etc...so how do i really do it? " I was about to post the same question.... the DRU 810a model is not an option in DVD Decrypter....
@erroneous, From my understanding Sony does not make their own drives, they have been rebadged Lite-ons and lately rebadged Benq's. I also read that Lite-on acquired Benq's optical drives as of April of this year. Back on topic: a google search came up with this for your DRU-810A. http://www.videohelp.com/forum/archive/t296395.html You can try DvdInfoPro, as arniebear indicated above. There is a free version. http://www.dvd-recordable.org/wwwimgs/media/flash/dvdinfopro/index.htm
Nero's CD-DVD Speed utility will allow you topebooktye your Sony 810a by default. Look under "extras", Bitsetting....
Thanks alot guys. This forum is chock full o'knowledge. Amazing what people can accomplish without layers of bueruaucratic management preventing them from sharing knowledge. BTW, Without googling I would NOT know who sang the song cool night. Google works so well, that I'm sure there will be attempts to outlaw it. Like an unfair competition law. Farm it out in pieces to the "Baby-web search tools" like Ma Bell. Sarcasm detector is going off...
Nothing against light-heartedness, but the same irrelevant question across 4 or so different threads, that's just light-headedness
