Strange BT Voyager 2000 router problem

I have a BT Voyager 2000 router and while I have no problems connecting to the internet I can no longer connect to the router itself.

Both Voyager.home and 192.168.1.1 no longer take me to the control panel, it simply times out. It only came to light today when I decided to do a little port forwarding.

If anyone will know how to sort this out it will be you guys!

    Thanks in Advance

    Alice.

It seems that I can still ping, tracert and telnet connect to the router through cmd... but still cannot access it the normal way.

I've seen this problem when a proxy server has been setup on my lan connection in IE. Might be worth checking.
