Strange Starview problem? Some channels but not as many as I was expecting

ok lets start at the begenning do a factory reset and turn your box off then back on again then accept language then go to installation and choose your provider at the top do a auto scan then


do you have digital cable coming into the house at present and if you take the cable and plug straight into tv do you get channels

 

Currently have Sky but had cable years before and they left the aerial box in!

i live in south london... might that be a problem?

 

You need to be connected to a cc provider like V****N or N** or T***P*** other wise you are wasting your time they will not work on an ariel or sat dish sorry need to get cable in ok

 

But about a week ago i had over a 100 channels including sky sports and some movie channels?

 

Then u may still have cable ! or maybe u got cutoff ! ....
What happened last week ? did they just dissapear ?

 

possible they cut your cable off check the cable by putting straight into the tv and see what you get then you will know

 

i do have a dish! well now and then i perform a rescan to see whether i can pick up any more channels from 150 it dropped down to about 70 and then after doing that master reset per ur instructions i can get anything now

 

the boxes do not work on dishes only on cable

did you put your right provider in when scanning also you could try the other ones as well doing a scan on them as well

 

yup ive done that it only works on C***e and W***less

i just dont understand why i had some channels this morning and none now

since doing the reset its just not working

 

did you check the cable in your tv take out of box and plug into tv and see what you have cable network could be down or cut check this first to rule the cable problem out

 

Are you refering to the keys? I've only checked the NTL ones.
