Did you follow the instructions for setting it up and saving the streams?

    Yes,
I installed vcr.exe and then ran the crack. After running the crack I went to check the help button to make sure that the crack worked. No help button and the file only updated 728 bytes instead of 808.

I had the same problem with the crack program. It wrote 700 and some odd bits rather than 808. It won't work. Anyone have any ideas.

Same here. I ran the crack and it updated only 728 bits and doesn't show the "fix" in Help>About. Filename for the crack I got is fr_svcr1b31_crack.exe, not fr_svcr1b31_cracksmf.exe as named in the manual. I downloaded from both servers just in case.

    Anyone?

Whoa! Got it! The file you download from the net may have a lot of redundant zip and exe files in it. Just unzip every damn one of them into the same folder, always choosing Overwrite. You'll finally get the crack file with "smf" in the name, which works.

Sorry, I'll quit cluttering after this. Just am I'm about to let out a whoop of joy, I get a 403. Here's the last part of my log:

If I can access the clip and the host to begin with, then why the 403? Does it make a difference that I'm in China, behind a bamboo curtain that blocks lots of websites and screws with my email client?

Shaxpir: You need to get the actual video file's direct URL, otherwise it wont work.
