im really struggling to update my eurovox max v even with the Unified Flash Loader v1.0. i got PEAA appearing on the box. when flash loader is used, im getting COM3 on the small window after i press the download button. i have checked all other forums for similar problems and there is none. PLEASE, if there anyone out there with ideas will help, it will be greatly appreciated.

There is NO clone safe Firmware for the Max V although I know of people using the new Firmware also prior to that the 18-04-08 firmware without problems.

I wont advise anyone to use genuine Firmware on a clone Eurovox so it's up to you whether you want to chance it.

Safe Firmware but will not auto update > http://www.4shared.com/file/22054629/8ca52a92/Eurovox_Max-V-Black_02_07_07.html

Latest fix with auto-sort for Genuine Eurovox > http://www.4shared.com/file/76064707/a3e65f87/UFL_MAX_V_Autosort_5_12_08.html

    The choice is yours ;)

    Hi tmck2,

With the auto-sort when you press FAV button on your remote you should see your list of channels in category order then if you press either the <L or R> buttons it will shift through the categories i.e popular/music/entertainment/sport and so on. No more having to sort your channels out into some sort of order.

thanks every1 4 the help given. i have managed 2 get the box going again. tthe initial firmware recommended by Hi-Tech is brilliant. 4 those with boxes showing PEAA, dont panic. whether be it a clone or real, you have to use a computer with the right port to upload software into your box.
