I'm choosing between the Panasonic TH42PZ80 and the TH42PX80. The Z series is 1080p with a 30k c. ratio and at cheapest is £734 and the X series is 720p with a 15k c. ratio at cheapest £609, these are the only differences worth noting. I will be veiwing the TV from between 6-10ft so I would like to know if the resolution would make a difference at the distance (I have 20/20 vision), also I was wondering if anyone who's seen the TV's knows if the extra £125 is worth the c. ratio difference?

    Thanks, Lloyd.

At 6 feet...the 1080p. Of course that's just me. Unless SDE doesn't bother you.

Using a 42" you will not see a difference between 1080P and 720P also there is no 1080P material all networks use 1080I blu ray is the only source of 1080P

In the Chicago area NBC, ABC, PBS, and Fox all broadcast at 720p.
