sub $1000 Home Theater

    I am looking to buy a home theater system. I don't want to buy a all-in-one solution due to the fact that they do what the ydo and thats all. I want a 5.1 reciever, speakers, sub, and DVD player. I have $1000 CDN to spend. Can't wait for your input. Thank you.

    Go to best buy and listen to the Precision Acoustics speakers. They are cheap, but they sound pretty good. Wait for their sale if you want, that will save some bux. Receiver-wise, yamaha seem to drive them well (BB uses yammy to drive them) and just pick up any dvd-player.
