Problem subsync runtime error 35600 index out of bounds

    I am trying to sync up a couple of subtitles using Subsync.
    However, when I try to ue the program, I keep getting the message "runtime error 35600 index out of bounds".
    Then the program freezes up and won't let me do anything.
    What is this and how can I fix it?
    I would appreciate any help.

    What I can find is that it's an Active X problem.

    Open Accessories and right click on Command Prompt. Select "run as administrator."

    Type in-

    sfc /scannow

    and let it run. Does it find and fix any problems?
