Subtitles!

    I have a DVD film with language. I can download subtitles for it in srt, ssa, etc. format. I would need to add them to the dvd. Menu editing is not necessary, but would be good. Which program can I use? I would need a fast way. Thank you!

    The only way is to Reauthor the DVD useing a DVD authoring program that supports Subtitles Like "MediaChance DVDLab Pro"....

    As Minion says, you'll have to reauthor the DVD. DVDLab Pro is very powerful and a good choice.

    If you wanted to add subs to a DVD with just freeware you could try these steps -

    Rip the DVD with DVDdecrypter. Use txt2sup to convert the downloaded .srt file to a .sup file.

    Demux the video and audio from the original VOB files with Vobedit. You should then have an m2v video file and an ac3 audio file.

    Reauthor the m2v, ac3 and converted sup file back to DVD compliant files with IFOedit. Then you can burn to DVD from there.
