Suggestions please. Upgrading my VAIO PC

    I decided to post the processes just in case you can help me out with what shouldn't or doesn't need to be running.

    It's hard to actually analyze what programs are actually there without doing a lot of research on my end, which is pretty much useless when I could just ask you what programs you have running on startup or by telling you to post a screenshot of you msconfig page. To do that go to start->run->msconfig. Expand the "Startup Item" and "Command" tab completly so the entire thing is showing and post a screenshot of that please. I don't need the Location tab.

    Your last screenshot did help me determine that the cause of the lag is not some 3rd party software, though that may be included but is your video playback.

    Is there is a way to find out if a movie I download is truly 1080p.

    Try Right-Clicking and checking the properties of the video. Under the Summary tab and hit Advanced.
